JASON LEE
Founder & CEO
Jason is a visionary leader with a passion for emergent technologies. He has a proven track record of identifying early-stage, high-growth technology markets and executing business as a first-mover. He co-founded one of the first internet companies in the UK, which won a global award delivering to an international blue-chip client base.
His background is in designing embedded microprocessor systems, associated analogue and digital electronic interfaces, and programming the systems at low-level for use in the oil & aerospace industries; many were world-firsts, typically for environments operating well beyond US military specification.
Jason is a regular speaker at events and AI panels including: Buckingham Palace, House of Lords, St James’s Palace, Milken Institute Global Conference, China Britain AI Summit, 4YFN, Unbound, DigitalK, French Tech London and the Lisbon Investment Summit amongst others.
He holds a 1st Class MEng (Hons) in Electronic Systems Engineering from Aston University.
Dr GEORGE CEVORA
Chief Data Scientist
George obtained his PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge.
His expertise includes Topological Data Analysis, Bayesian Statistics and Artificial Neural Networks.
George has developed AI systems for a number of different industry sectors using these methodologies to achieve state of the art performance.
He has been the recipient of multiple awards and is a regular speaker at global conferences on the issues of cognitive science and neuro-computational modelling.
KATE WILKINSON
Senior Data Scientist
Kate is a senior data scientist working across a range of high-impact Artificial Intelligence projects at illumr.
She has a particular interest in diversity and ethics within AI, and has recently implemented cutting-edge AI techniques within Rosa to remove bias from any type of dataset.
As an accomplished AI software developer, Kate is a champion of women at the current frontier of technology and was recently invited to join the panel of female thought leaders at the Murray Edwards College Cambridge International Women’s Day Event.
Kate holds a 1st Class MEng in Electronics & Information Science from the University of Cambridge.
DAMI ONAJOLE
Senior Developer
Dami is a Senior Developer at illumr where he leads technical delivery of our back-end products.
He brings commercial experience delivering a wide range of software and data architecture projects across various industries using a variety of technologies with a focus on delivering business value.
Dami holds a BA in Philosophy from Lagos State University.
JAT SAHI
Investor Director
Jat is currently the Senior Executive at Fujitsu in charge of Retail.
Jat was previously in charge of Strategy and Innovation in the Office of the Global CTO at Fujitsu.
Prior to Fujitsu, he co-founded a venture in Human Capital Management software which was successfully sold to Oracle.
Jat holds a BSc (Hons) from Brunel University.
HECTOR AGUILERA
Latin America CEO
Hector was most recently the Commercial Director at Solucoes Usiminas – one of the largest steel producers in Latin America.
He is a highly experienced C-Level executive with an outstanding record managing P&Ls and implementing new business models based upon open innovation and intrapreunership.
He is also a passionate entrepreneur and angel investor in various markets such as Craft Beer, Mobility, Retail Tech and Energy.
Hector has lived in 6 countries and speaks 4 languages and holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance & Strategy from Clark University in Massachusetts.
DAMIAN SUTCLIFFE
Advisory Board Member
Damian retired from a 20-plus year technology career at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., including the last five years as Chief Information Officer for EMEA. He was also Global Head of Regulatory Architecture & Global Head of Enterprise Data Governance at Goldman Sachs.
Over the course of his career, Damian held a range of senior management roles in London, Tokyo & New York delivering large-scale digital and data transformation initiatives.
He is an external advisor at McKinsey and is currently completing a PhD at the University of Cambridge.
Dr RANA GHOSH-ROY
Advisory Board Member
Rana is the Director of Analytics & Information Management for Deloitte.
He was previously Director of the Global Data and Analytics and Insights Lab at KPMG. He then joined IBM as a Partner in GBS, leading the Financial Sector in Europe for Cognitive and Analytics. He is currently at Deloitte, leading the AI/ML offering within the Consulting AIM practice across all sectors.
Rana is pleased to be part of Illumr as he firmly believes that Illumr is probably the only platform that is truly capable of creating an unbiased hypothesis.
HANADI JABADO
Advisory Board Member
Hanadi was the Founder of Accelerate Cambridge and is an Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Centre at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
Hanadi is often invited as a guest speaker on forums, debates and conferences on the topic of entrepreneurship; her work to support entrepreneurs earned her recognition as one of the Maserati100.
Born in Lebanon and raised in France, she is fluent in English, French and Arabic and speaks another four languages.
